Life without CPAP Headgear

Had always wondered if I could learn to tip back a drink in a direction that is not vertical w.r.t. my face and therefore impeded by the mask over my upper lip. Though I had found that I needed to be sitting upright, otherwise the reflux would be awful. Xyrem is bad enough going down the first time. But, I then went a second night, which was even worse for maintaining seal through the night, and my nares were starting to get irritated by the direct edge to edge contact. Plus during the night, I yawned...which caused the mouthpiece to fall out, etc. Yawning in bed can be so annoying....but kind of a sign that I should do something about my current situtation. So, I went to the nomask.com site and filled out contact form requesting the large pillows (first resize to large or small pillows, within 30 days?, is complimentary.) Later that day, I saw that I got a reply saying that a complimentary pair of large nasal puffs will be mailed to me. Wonder when it would arrive. Should I continue to struggle with the CPAP Pro, or look to trying out the TAP PAP? As my schedule unfolded, I ended up continuing to struggle with the CPAP Pro. Until the large nasal puffs arrived in the mail (first class envelope) on Saturday, life is going to suck when they stop doing mail deliveries on Saturdays. These large nasal puffs seem to be really large compared to standard, but they are what I need. I end up needing to adjust the angle and length of the pillow tubes, which makes things a bit more comfortable. And, everything went quite well. But, I should really find a night to redo the boil and bite mouthpiece of the CPAP Pro, and start the trial of my TAP PAP before its return insurance expires.
